I’m a former award-winning journalist and newspaper editor.
I have been in the media and publishing industry for 18 years as a journalist and editor, and later in my career moved over into freelance book editing.
I worked for various newspapers and magazines and now works as a freelance book editor, and book marketing and advice provider. I wrote my debut paranormal fantasy novel, A Tale of the Other Kind in 2012, but I’m rewriting it and it will be released as a second edition in 2021.
I have been working with authors for five years and have been privy to reading and editing some wonderful manuscripts from both publishing companies and self-publishing authors.
I’m working with authors, and other creatives to help them find and connect with their ideal audience, and to form a deeper and more powerful presence.
If you are worried whether I can assist you in making your manuscript the best it can be, then rest assured, because I am a qualified editor.
I hold a National Diploma in Journalism (2005) and a BTech (Hon) Degree in Journalism (2007) from Tshwane University of Technology. I also completed courses in Basic Creative Writing and Advanced Creative Writing from the University of Oxford, UK, and holds a certificate in Marketing from the University of Cape Town.
